You Can Help the Zoo!
May 5 #GivingTuesdayNow
Every year, we depend on visitors, members, donors, events, and programs to help us feed and care for Zoo animals at the highest level of care. Right now, though, we’re unable to open, so we need your help more than ever.

For #GivingTuesdayNow, we’re setting a goal of $25,000. That may sound like a lot, but it costs around $200,000 per year to feed our 400+ animals a variety of food from hay to meat to worms to eggs to apples, grapes, bananas, and more. And even more to ensure they have proper medical care, vaccines, geriatric treatments, bedding, housing, and so much more.

As a friend of the Potawatomi Zoo, we’re asking you to help us provide the best care for our animals. Every gift matters, and we are so grateful for our amazing community of supporters.

There Are Other Ways to Help
We completely understand that not everyone can donate right now, but there are plenty of other ways you can help support the Zoo!

You can get a car wash! We're teaming up with Mike's Car Wash in Mishawaka . During the weekend of May 8-10, if you purchase a $15 Ultimate Wash ($20 value), they'll donate $1 to the Zoo! They'll also be accepting credit card donations.

When you go shopping using AmazonSmile , Kroger Community Rewards , or Target Circle , you can choose Potawatomi Zoo as your charitable organization of choice, or vote for Potawatomi Zoo to be a giving beneficiary.

You can support the Zoo by buying a membership ! Buying a membership helps us and it gives you benefits that last a whole year! We have levels for individuals, students, seniors, single parents, and families. Learn more and buy a membership here.

Thank you for your support of the Zoo!
