Things to keep in mind during 
Remote Learning

  • 10 Technology FAQ's for Remote Learning has been posted on the Delaware City Schools website: Click Here 
  • We now have open and public Wi-Fi that can be accessed from two out door locations at Carlisle Elementary: the playground and the staff parking lot on Central Ave.  Network name is Public_Pacernet and there is no password
  • Take-home meals (breakfast and lunch) are available to all students at no charge.  During remote learning (November 30 - December 18), families can pick up a week's worth of meals on Wednesdays from 11:30 - 12:00  Please complete the Meals Form if you have not done so already

Carlisle is offering a Curbside Book Drop-Off & Pick-Up on Wednesday, December 16th from 2:30pm - 4:30pm in the bus loop by the temporary main office.

If your child will be absent in-person or online, please call the school office at 740-833-1450 to report their absence.

The SafeArrival Absence Reporting System has been disabled until further notice.
Free / Reduced Fees & Meal Benefits 
Delaware City Schools can waive school fees for students who qualify.  To apply for a fee waiver, please complete the Free / Reduced Fees & Meal Application which must be completed each school year.  Completing this application is also important for families to receive the P-EBT card which allows for additional food benefits during the pandemic (Click here for more information)

There are several ways to receive information about Carlisle School and Delaware City Schools.  Please check out the following:
  • District website - www.dcs.k12.oh.us
  • Text Messages: to receive text messages from DCS you must opt in by texting the word YES to 67587 from the phone on which you want to receive the message.  The number must match the number we have listed in your students' contact file.  If you receive a message that the number is not in the DCS system, please contact the Carlisle office and request to add your number or make a change to the number we have on file
