Carlson’s annual User Conference provides the opportunity to celebrate and learn for those using and interested in using Carlson Software solutions, and is the perfect opportunity to learn about the newly-released SurvPC 7. This year the event will feature an opening night performance by KC and the Sunshine Band followed by two days of expert and professionally instructed sessions. The second night will feature an evening banquet with musical performance by Wilson Fairchild.

Carlson Software has released the American made Carlson Aerial Platform (CAP50). The CAP50 UAS can be used in surveying, construction, engineering, mining, quarry and mapping applications and offers up to 6lbs of payload capacity and features multiple payload options for photogrammetry, LiDAR, and bathymetry.

The newly released SurvPC 7 comes loaded with new functionality, from the advanced averaging features that help users improve their GPS solutions and satisfy stringent survey requirements for GPS-collected data, to better reports, least squares adjustment in the field, as well as Esri ArcGIS capabilities. Completely new modules have been introduced for utilizing BIM files in the field, monitoring, and tunneling.

The newly-released version of iCAD is an IntelliCAD-based solution for viewing and saving .dwg, .dgn, and .dxf files, plotting, converting Civil 3D objects, and performing standard CAD edits including move, copy, erase, offset, trim, as well as text edits, polyline utilities, and more.
