Head of School News
June 18 , 2020
Dear Carmel Christian Family,

Since the school year wrapped up in May, our team has been working diligently to develop plans for the 2020-21 school year.
I am encouraged by the efforts of the CCS Re-Entry Task Force , composed of leaders from the Executive and Educational Leadership Teams as well as several departmental directors. Our goal - to design and implement a framework for Partnering Forward with CCS families for the 2020-21 school year.

Our staff returned to campus this week along with students participating in Summer Adventures camps and Athletic Workouts. What a blessing to see our campus coming to life again!

Despite many uncertainties about the fall, the CCS team is planning with multiple scenarios in mind to employ effective and engaging solutions throughout the school year. Strategies are being developed to promote excellence, flexibility, and discipleship while prioritizing community health and safety.

Today, I am pleased to introduce the CCS framework for re-entry. Please take some time to hear the context behind the details presented in the document by watching this video. I pray this information is both helpful and encouraging as you look toward next year.  The team will continue to expand this framework (filling in the gaps) over the coming weeks as we approach the first day of school on
August 19.  We will be back in touch in mid-July with more details. In the meantime, the team is on campus and available to assist you.

Thank you for your continued, prayerful support as we work to define God's best solutions for our CCS family for the upcoming school year! I am so grateful for your partnership!
