On Thursday (June 16th) the contractor plans to pave the asphalt surface on Delaware Trail, Wabash Street, Papoose Court, Omaha Court, Niagara Street, Napa Street, Malibu Court and Laguna Court. Paving will begin at approximately 7AM and is expected to take a few days to complete. If you live in this area, please do not park any vehicles in the roadway between 6AM and 5PM.
Please note that today the contractor must place a "tack coat" of oil on the pavement in preparation for paving. This oil will stick to vehicles, clothing or anything else it comes in contact with for the first couple hours after applied. If you expect to travel through the area please proceed very slowly to avoid splashing oil onto your vehicle.
Also on Thursday (June 16th) the contractor will continue removing the asphalt surface on Buckskin Lane, Burning Trail, Evergreen Drive, Lightning Trail and Springvale Road. If you live in this area, please do not park any vehicles in the roadway between 6AM and 5PM
With all of this work underway all roadways will be open to traffic at all times, however some construction delays and inconveniences can be expected in the work zone. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
