The Women in Business Lunch & Learn event was a great success! Cathy Miller, Director of Source Point Institute, spoke about Whole-Being Health and its benefits for the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Whole Being Health focuses on restoring health, promoting resilience, and preventing diseases across a lifespan. It involves helping and empowering individuals, families, communities, and populations to improve their health in multiple interconnected biological, behavioral, social, and environmental areas.

Ms. Miller also explained how Good Points Acupressure can be beneficial for self-care. Acupressure is an alternative treatment that involves applying pressure to certain points on the body to trigger a response. Attendees were able to participate in a community acupuncture clinic using the NADA protocol, which involves placing 5 needles in each ear. This treatment can help reduce stress and anxiety, reduce depression, improve sleep and appetite, and provide a general sense of well-being.

It was great to see attendees learn about Whole-Being Health and Good Points Acupressure and participate in a community acupuncture clinic.
