According to the publication, this year’s group of 16 honorees come from a variety of firms that play a role in the deal making ecosystem, highlighting the diversity and talent of women in mid-market M&A. Mergers & Acquisitions also reported that this year they received one of the largest number of nominations since the award process was started in 2016. To be considered for this recognition, nominees must be women in leadership positions within their firms who seek to drive change and serve as role models to inspire the next generation.
