Conference Theme: “Carpet Recycling: Chasing the Checkered Flag”

Dalton, GA – Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE) will hold its 22nd Annual Conference for the national carpet recycling industry on May 7-8, 2024 at the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites in Indianapolis, Indiana. The theme of the Conference, “Carpet Recycling: Chasing the Checkered Flag” highlights the recent developments in carpet recycling technology and opportunities that are moving carpet out of the waste stream to becoming a valued and sought-after input for manufacturing.

“We are looking forward to a vibrant, fast-moving Conference with a wide array of expert speakers,” noted CARE Executive Director Bob Peoples. “The carpet recycling industry is moving fast and there is so much to talk about that we have extended the Conference to two full days this year. Past participants say that networking is one of the primary benefits of this gathering, so we’re scheduling plenty of time for that, too.”

Confirmed speakers for the 22nd Annual Conference include Floor Focus publisher Kemp Harr, Alli Chertack of the American Chemistry Council, Dr. Don Wingard of PRET Advanced Materials, Maria Field of Ascend Performance Materials, Kirsten Ritchie at Gensler, Melanie Taylor with the Synthetic Turf Council and Dr. Matthew Realff of Georgia Tech, among others. Additional speakers will be announced. See the full agenda here.
