The 2026 CARE Carpet Recycling Annual Conference will take place May 5-6 at the Westin in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This year’s theme is “Elevating the Future – From Valley to Summit."
Carpet collectors, processors, and manufacturers from around the country will gather to discuss progress in recycling technology, market development and solutions for the circular economy. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to tour carpet and fiber production facilities to see amazing technology at work.
Confirmed speakers for the Conference include Dow Research Scientist Dr. Jie Wu, Floor Focus publisher Kemp Harr, Technical Director Kevin Line from building systems company CertainTeed, Executive Director Doug Kobold of the California Carpet Stewardship Council and historian Matthew Spaulding. There will be ample time for networking. along with the traditional CARE Recycler and Person of the Year awards announcement.
