Book News

We have a cover! Isn't it amazing?

The section in the book about bat wing development in utero is fascinating, and I appreciate that a less-loved creature is featured on the cover. Check out those adorable feet :)

And, we have a Junior Library Guild designation, too. What a nice way to bring this book into the world.

Connections

Many thanks to the organizers of the SCBWI Michigan Spring Conference, Making Books Bloom, held on May 17th. I loved presenting "Find Your Agent Fit."

The talent behind the scenes! Mina Chung, art director at Macmillan Children's Publishing Group, and I had a moment. She art-directed Real Princesses Change the World, and when I asked her to sign a copy of our book, she beamed and shared that she'd never been asked that before!
