We are excited to see the world slowly open back up! While some areas are still closed there are some countries and U.S destinations that we are happy to see coming back! In this issue we will highlight some of the openings and what you can expect! These are still fluid but we are feeling more confident that we are now in a forward direction. U.S. Borders

United States: Intl Arrivals:

•Entry is suspended for residents/ visitors to Schengen Area, U.K, Ireland, China & Iran. Brazil has been added to this list. No end date provided.

•The United States and Canada non-essential travel ban extended until June 22 (some expectation that this may be extended)
Canada: International Travel:

International Travelers are banned from entering until July 1st and there is a 14 day quarantine for anyone entering.

•Domestic Travel: Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and the territories are banning visitors from other provinces. Manitoba and Nova Scotia will require a 14 day quarantine.

•Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec do not have restrictions.

Caribbean islands opening soon:
•St. Lucia borders now open to US travelers, but will require a negative COVID test.
•Jamaica opening to international travel on June 15.
•Bahamas has announced it will open borders on July 1.
•Turks and Caicos will open international border on July 22

Islands with no definitive date :
•Grenada may open borders in mid June.
•Anguilla borders closed until further notice.
•Barbados has entered Phase 3 of re-opening but no date for borders
•St. Vincent and the Grenadines borders closed until further notice.

Vermont –Quarantine extended til June 15th
Hawaii –14 day until July 1 but Governor promises to extend. Inter-island quarantine lifted on June 16
Florida –14 day quarantine for NY, NJ, CT still in place.
Maine –Opening July 1st, but guests will have to certify they are negative
Massachusetts –14 day still in place •Connecticut–14 days still in place
New Mexico –14 day quarantine for airport arrivals still in effect
* Alaska - no quarantine as long as you test negative, can be done at the airport upon arrival.

USA National Parks Already re-open with restrictions –Great Smoky Mountains, Bryce, Zion, Yellowstone (all entrances), Grand Teton, Rocky Mountain, Grand Canyon South Rim, Shenandoah, Volcanoes, Mt Rushmore, Arches / Canyonlands, Sequoia / Kings Canyon, Acadia

USA National Parks with re-opening plans –Glacier (Phased Mid June), Yosemite (late June with reservations)•USA National Parks/ Monuments will re-open when DC reaches Phase 2.

Canadian National Parks –Phased re-opening started on June 1st at 29 Parks including Banff and Jasper

Monument Valley -planning to re-open June 8

Florida–Universal Studios announced June 5 th reopening*; Disney to open July 15 th . Miami beaches and hotels open June 1 st .

NYC–Broadway has extended dark until September; No other major sites have announced opening plans

Washington, DC –DC Monuments have not announced re-opening plans

Las Vegas –Hotels and casinos now open!

California –Most major attractions like Universal Hollywood and Disneyland looking to a July re-opening

*Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and more!
  • Walt Disney World theme parks will open beginning July 11 for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom followed by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15.

  • Additionally, Disney Vacation Club properties at Walt Disney World and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will begin to reopen to Members and Guests on June 22. Disney Vacation Club properties in Vero Beach, Florida, and Hilton Head, South Carolina, will open on June 15.

  • Disney Springs has already begun to reopen. Upon reopening, theme parks, Disney Resort Hotels, restaurants and other offerings may be modified, limited in capacity and subject to availability or closure.

  • Disneyland Resort theme parks, hotels and the Downtown Disney District are currently closed and a reopening date has not been identified.

  • Upon reopening, certain parks, hotels, restaurants, attractions, experiences and other offerings will be modified or unavailable, will have limited capacity and will be subject to limited availability or even closure, and park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.

  • Disney Cruise Line Extends Suspension of Departures from Europe through October 2, 2020, Departures from Canada through September 14, 2020, and Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy Departures through July 27, 2020.

  • Adventures by Disney has suspended departures through Friday, July 31, 2020.

  • Aulani Resort Temporary Closures and Important Information
  • In line with direction from health experts and government officials, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa will remain closed until further notice.

  • Upon reopening, Aulani Resort rooms, experiences, restaurants and other offerings may be modified and will be limited in capacity and subject to limited availability or closure, based on direction from health experts and government officials to promote physical distancing.
