Service Spotlight

Carson's Village’s Peer-to-Peer program connects people who have experienced a similar loss so they can walk alongside others through one of life’s hardest seasons. Volunteers offer guidance, understanding, and a listening ear—turning their own experience into a source of comfort and hope.

If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to give back, consider joining the Village as a Peer-to-Peer volunteer. We've recently streamlined our training process to work around our volunteer's schedules, with a combination of asynchronous and live meetings that can work around anyone's availability. Together, we’re building a compassionate community where no one has to grieve alone.

Shout out to our Advocate Alisha for providing crucial support to a family in need:

Following the sudden death of a young father, this family was referred to Carson's Village. The young widow expressed deep gratitude for the outreach and resources provided. Alisha offered grief support referrals, including child-focused programs, and guidance on financial and Social Security benefits. This compassionate connection helped the family begin to navigate life after loss with support and care.
