During a chat with my best friend Sharon, she shared some personal wisdom and inspiration. “You should always be walking with sunshine in your heart”. This thought really resonated with me as an attitude of facing your world and finding the joy in your environment and the people you surround yourself with.

First Grandbaby!

In January we invited baby P into the Carter family. We're in love! I'm sure this is not news to any of you grandparents reading this.

At 2 months old he is really developing his personality. He's smart, vocal, and has such a lovely nature.

Being a modern blended family, means there are 4 sets of grandparents... so 4 Grandmas. To distinguish myself, I've decided I will be called 'Grandma Cookie'.

Making a Will can now be done from your home comfy couch!

For almost 3 years Carter Notary has been offering appointments by video conference aka Zoom. With permanent legal changes in 2022, we can now also video witness our clients signing Wills, Power of Attorneys and Health Representation Agreements.

Celebrating Vicky's Top Notary Award

We are thrilled to announce that Vicky's hard work all paid off. She was recognized for her outstanding achievements in her Notary education with the top award, the 35th Annual Dr. Bernard W. Hoeter Award.

This award is given to the Notary student who achieved the highest marks on all the Notarial Statutory Examinations of their year.

Meet New Staff Valeria

Valeria recently joined our staff as a Notarization and Service Assistant.

She has a Bachelors Degree in Justice Studies from Royal Roads University and speaks Spanish too!

We are excited to have her as a part of our Notary Team!

Spring Herbal Forest Walk

Join us! Sunday, April 30th from 10am-12pm for a Spring Herbal Forest Walk in and around Gowlland Tod Provincial Park with Herbalist Betty Norton. Betty has been teaching in the Victoria area for the last 16 years, and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of local plants.

We want you to learn about the local plants and herbs which are found in your own back yard which provide healing and nutrition. This is a introduction to foraging and we will explore some of the ways you can use these plants in your everyday life. We have 24 available spots and encourage you to sign up a friend too!

Local to Vancouver Island, Lifestyle Markets has been offering a large selection of natural foods, vitamins and supplements since 1995.

Betty Norton has a long history and connection with natural foods and health supplements. She used to manage the vitamin department at Lifestyle Markets, and once she started her own family became a health sales representative on Vancouver Island. She also teaches about herbal remedies!
