CROWELL PUBLIC LIBRARY   
Upcoming Family Events at Crowell Public Library
 
Bilingual Chinese and English Storytime (Ages 3 and up)
Saturdays at 11am
March 26; April 16, 23; May 7, 14
Crowell Public Library is proud to present an interactive storytime for speakers of Mandarin Chinese, English, or both. Stories, songs, and fingerplays will be conducted in both languages. All ages are welcome, but program is designed for ages 3-5. Please join us!Registration is not required.
 
Barks & Books (Kindergarten and up)
April 12 and May 10 (Second Tuesdays) at 3:15pm
Elementary school children are invited to the Crowell Public Library to practice their reading skills by reading to Spencer, a gentle Basset Hound.  This special program is made possible by volunteers of the Pasadena Humane Society. Registration is not required.
 
LEGO Club (Ages 3 and up)
April 14 and May 12 (Second Thursdays) at 3:15pm
Come join us after school for this once a month program where we will use our imaginations to build with Legos! All materials will be provided; the only thing you have to bring is your creativity! Registration is not required.
 
Anime Your Way Workshop (Ages 7 and up)
Saturday, March 26, 2pm
Kids ages 7 and up are invited to join us for an anime drawing workshop presented by Carlos Nieto III. In this workshop young artists will learn the basics of drawing an anime face and body even if they can't draw a circle! All supplies will be provided and registration is not required.
 
Star Wars Day (Kindergarten and up)
Saturday, April 23, 2pm
**Register early (required). Space will fill.**
Do you have what it takes to be a Jedi? May the 4th (Star Wars Day) is coming up and you are invited to Jedi Training while celebrating all things Star Wars with Crowell Public Library! Costumes are encouraged, and remember: Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Tues. April 5 - Fri. April 22: Non-resident registration
 
Mother's Day Crafts (ages 3 and up)
Saturday, May 7, 2pm-3:30pm
What are you getting Mom for Mother's Day? Kids are invited to come to the library to make a beautiful craft to give to their mom and/or grandma on her special day. All materials will be provided - just bring your creativity! Registration is not required.
