RECEIVES 4 STARS...AGAIN!!
Carver Center has earned a fifth consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. This is the highest possible rating and indicates that we adhere to best practices and execute our mission in a financially efficient way. It also indicates that we exceed industry standards and outperform most charities in our area of work.
Only 16% of charities that are evaluated have received 5 CONSECUTIVE 4-STAR EVALATIONS!

CARVER CENTER'S
VIRTUAL AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM BEGINS!
With support from the Port Chester School District, the STEM Alliance of Larchmont/Mamaroneck and Interns4Good, Carver Center has launched a Virtual After School program to forty-one 3rd, 4th and 5th graders from JFK and Edison Schools. Students are welcomed into their Google Classrooms before receiving their Daily Download of the day's activities, including a variety of enrichment opportunities in "The Kid Zone". Classes will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00pm.

2020 NUMBERS ARE IN!
From March through December, we distributed food to 12, 834 households. That equates to 47,776 children, adults and seniors. Moving forward in 2021, we will continue to research ways to increase our reach to more of our food insecure Port Chester residents and continue to offer healthy food options of meat, produce and individual meals-to-go.
CARVER CENTER RECEIVES $30K EMERGENCY FOOD GRANT FOR PANDEMIC RESPONSE
Funds for this grant will be used for our Food Service Program to make and distribute meals to children at the JFK and Thomas A. Edison Elementary Schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We anticipate serving 200 meals per site, per day.

Along with our 8-week session of Citizenship Classes, Fabiola Montoya, our Citizenship Coordinator, is also offering a course to teach the specifics of this important document that is needed for our students to become citizens.
