Greetings!

Summer is in full swing at Carver! This month, our programs are creating opportunities for children, families, and community members to learn, connect, and thrive. From the start of summer camp to the continued support of families through our programs and services, we’re grateful to share the moments, milestones, and impact made possible by our community.

Month in Review

Summer Camp is

officially underway!

At Camp Carver, Campers come to a place where they can learn new skills, build friendships, explore their interests, and enjoy meaningful experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Beyond the activities and memories made, camp also helps meet an important everyday need: making sure children have access to nutritious meals throughout the day. Every camper receives breakfast and lunch, providing the nourishment they need to stay energized, engaged, and ready to make the most of their summer. Through opportunities like these, we help ensure that every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Invest Fest

This summer, Carver Center joined the Westchester County Youth Bureau and fellow community partners for Invest Fest, an annual celebration of youth, connection, and opportunity. Nearly 200 young people from across Westchester came together for a day filled with activities, learning, and community-building.

Meet our

Summer Youth Employment Interns

Our Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) connects 45 of our youth with paid work experience, helping them build job skills, professionalism, and confidence while earning a paycheck.

Community Collaborations

Blessed Dressed

Blessed Dressed generously donated communion dresses for community members to take home free of charge. This event is a beautiful example of neighbors supporting neighbors during this special season.

In Memory of Lou Larizza

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our longtime friend and supporter, Lou Larizza. His generosity and belief in our mission helped make opportunities possible for countless children, families, and neighbors throughout our community. We are deeply grateful for the kindness and compassion he shared with Carver Center over the years.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones, and we honor his legacy with gratitude.
