Children and families look to Casa de Esperanza to help break the cycle of child abuse and neglect. Through programs that provide safety, resources, relationships and hope, families are restored and children have a chance at a better life.
Over the next few months, you'll hear about one such family who came to Casa de Esperanza in crisis and received residential, case management, community foster care, and aftercare services.
Tom, Ann and their 9 month old daughter Kaylee were homeless; Tom was a Veteran, and Ann struggled with substance abuse and mental and physical illnesses. Casa de Esperanza quickly placed Kaylee in a Casa de Esperanza neighborhood foster home where she was safe and cared for by loving Hands of Hope Interns. Over the next two years, the Casa de Esperanza team formed relationships with all three, working extensively with the family to prepare them for reunification and a brighter future.
Tom, Ann and Kaylee have hope for the future because so many people cared!
