2020 Paralympics
Mercer Alum John Tanguay was officially named to the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Team! He will be in the Mixed PR3 4+. Congratulations to John and the rest of the Paralympic Team!
Olympic Rowing Update
Congratulations to all the Men and Women who raced at the Olympics last month! We are so proud of all the effort you put into each race! Congratulations to Hilary and Coach Sarah for their hard work as well!
PNRA 2021 Volunteer of the Year
PNRA’s Volunteers of the Year for the 2021 regatta season are Martin Murtland, Miles Truesdell, and Richard Zultner. This trio is being recognized for their work at making sure that we had online video coverage of the Mercer Lake Sprints and the Mid-Atlantic Junior Regional Championship. This coverage made it possible for virtual spectators to participate in these events when in-person attendance was limited due to COVID restrictions.
PNRA/Mercer Summer Programming
On July 24th the Summer Competitive Team competed at the Philidelphia Youth Regatta! We had a great showing from all our athletes who have been working hard over the summer. Congrats to everyone who raced!




Novice Summer Learn to Row Camp
For the last 5 weeks, we have been hosting weekly summer camps for athletes interested in trying out a new sport! We had 178 junior athletes in the camp and many in multiple camps.

Some quotes we have gotten from participants and parents!

* My camper has been loving camp and would like to continue next week as
well.

* My campers loved the rowing camp-thank you! They’re very interested in
doing the fall novice rowing program.

 * My camper just completed her one-week summer camp and was potentially
interested in joining for the fall

* Just have to tell you that when my camper got home, the first thing he
said was, "it was fun".  

* My camper had a fantastic week - TY!!!
