Martin Luther King TEMS Casserole Project 2019
Once again, we will be making casseroles to help feed the homeless.  Last year TEMS students, faculty and their families made a record 713 casseroles that were delivered to soup kitchens and shelters from Philadelphia to lower Chester County. Our efforts were greatly appreciated since many freezers had been depleted over the holidays. We will be collecting FROZEN casseroles on
January 22, 2019. For more information you can view the Flyer or contact:
Leah LeComte lalecomte@gmail.com
Kara Frech kmfrech17@verizon.net .
From Jan. 7 - Jan. 22nd, the 8th Grade Leadership Seminar group will be running a clothing drive for the Philadelphia location of
     " Cradles to Crayons",
a charitable organization providing care supplies to children in need. The items being collected for this drive are children's books, coats, hats, and mittens/gloves (gently used/new) and socks (new only). Each grade level has 2 teachers who will have donation boxes in
  their rooms.
5th Grade: Mr. Bryant (211) and Mr. Klass (110)
6th Grade: Mr. Allison (105) and Mr. Davey (207)
7th Grade: Ms. Wilson (221) and Mrs. Toscano (147)
8th Grade: Mrs. Ferenchick (220) and Ms. Crocker (133)

IMPORTANT Information from the School Nurse:

We are writing to remind you that
all student medications, including over the counter medications, MUST be brought into the school nurse BY A PARENT.  All medications must include a signed doctor's order.   Unfortunately, we can't make exceptions since this is Pennsylvania law.  Students are not to carry any medications other than an Epi pen, inhalers, or medications for diabetes when there is a self-carry order on file in the nurse's office.  If medications are sent into school with a student, a parent will be required to come pick up the medication and it will not be administered by the nurse.  Unfortunately, we can't accept any medications without a written order from the doctor. Please contact Leigh Ann Coary, RN at 610-240-1210 with any further questions.  Thank you for your support and understanding as we look to create the safest possible environment for all students!
