Thursday, February 5, 2026

Ancestry’s new Pro Tools can increase your ability to analyze your DNA matches. New filters have been added to enhance your DNA sorting. Colored dots have expanded. And the much-anticipated Enhanced shared matches tool is giving us another level of insight into our matches by showing us how our matches share DNA with each other.

Go to Member Login, then choose Class Registration.

RootsTech Watch Party

10:00 am-4:00 pm

Castle Rock Library

Our society has reserved meeting rooms for a special two-day RootsTech Watch Party Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6!

We’ll gather to view a selection of RootsTech webinars together—some live, some recorded—and will remain flexible in our schedule based on the interests of those attending. Whether you’re new to genealogy or a seasoned researcher, RootsTech offers something for everyone: research techniques, technology tools, DNA insights, and inspiring stories from the global genealogy community.

This is a relaxed, come-and-go event with no registration required. Join us for one session or stay for the day, participate in discussion, and enjoy learning together in a friendly setting.

Feel free to bring a snack to share with the group, along with your curiosity, questions, and love of family history.
