2019 - 2020 COURSE REQUEST CHANGES
Students received a copy of their course requests in Advisement on 5/7. They have one week to request a change and can do this step  AT THIS LINK.
(FYI - some classes may be full and credit caps still apply.)
CV COUNSELORS ARE ASKING FOR YOUR INPUT
When DC Voters decided to pass the Bond and Mill Levy in the 2018 election, CVHS was afforded the opportunity to increase our school counseling staff to a total of 10 counselors to serve our student body. With such an increase, we are asking Sabercat Nation to weigh in on how the Counseling Department may best utilize our increased resources. Needs Assessments will be given to CV students, families and staff members in an effort to best understand what your community wants to see from our department during the 2019 - 2020 school year.
Please use the below link and complete the Parent/Guardian Assessment by May 14th.
SUMMER SCHOOL
All CVHS students who need summer school must speak with a counselor in the next two weeks. CVHS counselors will be available on:
May 24th (7:30 am to 3:00 pm) and May 28th (12:00 to 2:30 pm) to advise you on the best summer school options. Some questions may be answered by simply emailing their counselor.
You should consider summer school if:
*You are a freshman that failed 2 or more core classes this year.
*You are a sophomore that will have less than 12.0 credits after this term (you have more than 6 F's on your transcript).
*You are a junior that will have less than 18.0 credits after this term (or if you are far behind in a certain area like English or Science).
