| | 🏀 Justice High School Boys Basketball Team Wraps Up an Outstanding Season | | |
Congratulations to the Justice High School Boys Basketball Team on an incredible season! Their commitment, resilience, and teamwork have been a source of pride for the entire Mason District community.
Throughout the season, these student-athletes displayed not only exceptional talent on the court but also leadership and sportsmanship that reflect the values of Justice High School. Their achievements are a testament to the dedication of the players, coaching staff, families, and school community who supported them every step of the way.
We applaud their hard work and look forward to all they will accomplish in the seasons ahead.
| | Marching Forward: Celebrating Women Who Inspire Change | | |
It was an honor to attend the Fairfax County Commission for Women’s Annual Women’s History Month Breakfast, a powerful gathering that celebrated the achievements and impact of women across generations.
This year’s theme, “Moving Forward Together: Women Educating and Inspiring Generations,” beautifully reflected the spirit of unity and progress. We were especially inspired by keynote speaker Jessica Berg, whose work in bringing Women & Gender Studies into the classroom is helping to shape the next generation of thoughtful, inclusive leaders.
Thank you to the Commission for Women, Fairfax County NAACP, and all of the dedicated partners and advocates who continue to uplift, empower, and lead in our community. It was a true privilege to celebrate Women’s History Month alongside so many trailblazers: past, present, and future.
| | |
It was an honor to attend the International Women’s Day event on March 29, where we gathered to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and leadership of women in our community. The event was filled with meaningful conversations, reflection, and connection, an inspiring reminder of the power of coming together.
A heartfelt thank you to the incredible group of women who contributed generously to the Advancing Menstrual Equity: Fairfax County Menstrual Product Drive. Their support will make a lasting difference in the lives of many, helping to ensure everyone in our community has access to essential resources.
Events like these highlight the importance of collaboration and mutual support. I look forward to continuing our work together to create lasting, positive change in Mason District and throughout Fairfax County.

🦷 Calling All Local Dentists: Help Expand Access to Dental Care in Mason District
As part of our continued efforts to support the health and well-being of residents in the Culmore and Fairmont communities, we are working closely with our Health and Human Services (HHS) partners to identify local dentists who may be willing to volunteer their time or provide reduced-cost dental services to neighbors in need.
Access to dental care is a critical component of overall health, and many residents in these areas face significant barriers to receiving regular care. By stepping up to support this effort, dental professionals can make a tangible, lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families right here in Mason District.
If you are a dental provider or know someone who may be interested in partnering with us, please reach out to our office at Mason@fairfaxcounty.gov or call 703-256-7717 to learn more and get involved.
Together, we can help close the gap in dental care and build a healthier community.
