Worship
In-Person Worship Has Resumed!
St. David's resumed in-person worship for up to 125 people per service. Please register to attend either:
  • Rite I: 8:00am in the Chapel
  • Rite II: 9:15am in the Chapel (also live-streamed)
  • Rite II: 5:00pm in the Chapel
Wandering the Way of the Cross:
Outdoor Stations in the Old Churchyard
Fridays in Lent | 5:00pm | Old Churchyard

Take up the cross and follow Jesus in an outdoor walking art and music meditation through the Stations of the Cross in the old churchyard. These 30-minute Stations can be experienced by individuals during all of Lent and in a group experience on Fridays at 5 pm and before the two Good Friday services.

Kids of St. David's Lectionary Arts & Crafts!

Every Tuesday afternoon on Facebook, St. David's showcases the wonderful Children's lectionary-based arts and crafts, created by the kids of St. David's! Be sure to 'like' the St. David's Facebook page to see the week's new story and associated project!

Experiencing the Way of Love Coffee Hour
Sundays in Lent | 10:30am | Zoom

For the 6 Sundays in Lent, the Center for Spiritual Growth and the Discipleship Commission will be partnering to offer “Experiencing the Way of Love,” a series of interactive and contemplative classes during the Adult Forum and Online Coffee Hour.
Pastoral Care
Caring Meals Ministry

The DIOPA has officially allowed St. David's to restart the Caring Meals ministry! For this ministry, parishioners prepare and deliver a meal to other parishioners identified by the clergy as needing support and encouragement.

Music
Lenten Musical Meditations
Wednesdays in Lent | 6:30pm | Broadcast

Quiet the heart and mind during Lent with St. David’s Lenten Musical Meditations. Set in the Old Church, each half-hour Musical Meditation features a different classical musician or musicians performing contemplative music in alternation with the reading of scripture, poetry, prose, and prayer.

In-Person Organ Concert Series Sponsored by the American Guild of Organists
Tuesdays in March | 12:00pm | Chapel & Livestream

This recital series, now being offered for its fourth year, will be held on consecutive Tuesdays at 12:00 noon from March 2 through March 30, 2021. Five artists will perform their selected works on the church's Dobson pipe organ, Opus 84, one of the finest in the area, built by the builders of the Kimmel Center organ in 2007.
Fellowship
Beyond the Book: Women's Book Club
First Mondays | 7:00pm | Zoom

All women of St. David’s are invited to join other women for support, spiritual discussion, prayer, and fellowship in this once-a-month reading and discussion group. The 2020-21 theme for the year is The Way of Love, so Beyond the Book will read Love Heals, by Becca Stevens.

St. James School 10 Years of Faithful Partnership Event
Tuesday, March 16th | 6:30pm

The Most Reverend Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, is the keynote speaker at St. James School’s 10 Years of Faithful Partnership event, celebrating our church and others that have helped build and grow this thriving school serving children in the under-resourced Philadelphia neighborhood of Allegheny West.

Lenten Outreach Food Donations Needed!

This Lent, St. David's is partnering with the Hispanic Missioner of our diocese to feed the largely Hispanic and Latino communities in Norristown and South Philadelphia. Please take a look at the list of needed food items by clicking below and consider bringing some of this food to church and dropping it off at the narthex door.
