TWC staff would like to thank everyone who attended last week's American Transit Training and Apprenticeship Innovators Network (ATTAIN) webinar on bus maintenance apprenticeship.
The webinar featured an engaging and interactive discussion on the recent successes and launches of bus maintenance apprenticeship programs by Miami-Dade Transit/Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 291 and High Valley Transit (UT). It also provided examples from both union and non-union programs and attendees heard from the State Director of the U.S. Department of Labor's Utah Office of Apprenticeship about the role their local apprenticeship office plays in the registration process.
