Check out the Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) Peer Support Center in Bell Tower East 1808. There are Mental Health Peers ready to provide one-on-one sessions for those students who want to talk about concerns related to academic well-being. These sessions run approximately 30 minutes and are completely free and private.

Transfer Student Week
It’s time for our annual National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) celebration with FREE events for students all this week!
Events include the NTSW Kick-Off, the popular Dolphin’s Farmers Market, Career and Study Abroad workshops, FREE tacos on Thursday (first 100 students) and so much more! Follow us on Instagram for updates, facts, and giveaway opportunities. We hope you can engage with us!
NTSW offers the perfect opportunity to highlight the successes and struggles experienced in the transition from the community college to CSUCI. This is an opportunity to unite as a campus, while we educate and advocate on behalf of our transfer population. Yes, that means you have more time to plan your outfit and to perfect your walk for the fashion show! Join us October 17th from 5pm-9pm in South Quad. Your HRE and SPB are still bringing you free giveaways, food, and so much more 🤌🏽🛍 ! Bake Me Happy and Tacos La Chaparrita will be there providing that 🔥. The Fashion Show will still take place at 5:30pm. We cannot wait to see you there!

Group members will gain a foundation in mindfulness and self-care practices through guided meditations and group discussion. Participants will learn how to integrate mindfulness practices into daily life and cope more effectively with stress to promote well-being and academic success.

This Lunch and Learn (Tableau) will be led by Kristin Jordan, Data Scientist in the Office of Institutional Research. RSVP is required by the day of the workshop. In-person seating is limited to 25. Virtual Zoom is an option and has no limits. The workshop will be recorded and available through the Plot-a-Thon Canvas Module.

Sci-Trek Volunteer Recruitment
SCI-TREK is in need of Student Volunteers for our outreach to local elementary schools. We are a service-learning Chemistry Program looking for people willing to assist our Trained Student Teacher as they teach 2nd grade students a science experiment. The goal is to inspire young scientists and increase equity in our community.
