Greetings from GoServ Global
What happens when change is forced on you?

Proverbs 16:9 says, “In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.”

We are certainly reminded of this in these crazy times. Things were changed when the COVID-19 affected our whole world. Our lives were turned upside down and we struggled to find a new normal as many of you are doing. In times like these we remember God’s love for us. He will not leave His children in this time of need.

And he makes these promises:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”  John 14:27
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 6:6-7

I trust that you have been able to hold on to these promises and have taken this time of quarantine to strengthen your relationship with God.
GoServ Global COVID-19 Response
Through GoServ Global we have been called to serve others. We work alongside with God to provide for human and spiritual needs. This crisis has created many life-threatening needs around the world due to the lack of food and the unavailability of proper medical care. Some countries are still on lockdown and the needs continue daily. Most of these countries do not have any type of “safety nets” like we do here in the United States such as the items listed below.
· No unemployment compensation and
no extra 600/week
· No $1200 stimulus checks
·  No adequate healthcare
·  No food pantries

The country lockdowns have forced many people out of work, people who live day to day on what they earn to buy the basics needs of life like food. The inability to buy food is creating a hunger crisis for many families.
How the COVID-19 Crisis is Affecting the Countries We Serve
INDIA
The corona virus continues to impact Pastor Sunny and Kuni Raul’s work in many ways. The boarding school has been closed and the children sent home. The construction of the medical clinic has been halted at this time. The Raul’s along with others in their organization have been delivering food to those in great need, thus spreading the love of Christ to many who are Hindu’s. Thank you, Lord!! Like other countries the financial need to buy the supplies is very great.

HAITI
As in most third world countries, the entire country is on lock down and medical services are overwhelmed. Food is getting more and more expensive. Currently, the orphans we care for, the staff and workers are all okay for which we praise the Lord. The church is not meeting, and the school is closed but God is showing His love and care through His people.

GUATEMALA
Things are at a standstill in the county because of the virus. Our church and school are closed. Pastor Sam has been doing home visits and had the privilege of seeing an entire family come to the Lord and then follow in baptism. Praise the Lord!! Other members of the staff are visiting the elderly in the area and helping with their needs and repairs.  Food is being supplied to those in need around the church. We praise the Lord the church has not stopped, and we continue to go ahead with the Lord!!

PERU
Our missionaries Bethany and Nelton Noriega write, “We are under mandatory quarantine. Freedoms continuing to be stripped and the severity of consequences increasing. People are running out of food. The church volunteered as a delivery service of needed supplies. (We have now) been forced to take on the burden of paying for what is delivered." The medical system has collapsed in Peru. Riley Brinkman, a nurse working with GoServ Global has been working tirelessly to help those with medical needs. The list of people waiting for her often exceeds the number of hours she has in a day. Medical supplies are severely limited, but she is helping in the name of our Lord. Praise the Lord!!

UGANDA
The most significant problem is the highly vulnerable numbers of people are growing each day. Families that had little income before the pandemic currently have none. The government has done nothing to help. The children at the Village of Hope, which are now 60 plus are being well taken care of by the staff and by God’s grace no serious health issues. In addition to caring for the children, the staff is providing food for more than 50 widows in the area. During this time of crisis, 6 new souls have turned their lives over to Christ for salvation. Praise the Lord!!! God is at work.

But it is not all bad news. We want to encourage you because revival is happening even in the mist of this and God is caring for His people. The gospel message is being spread and people are coming to Christ. God is at work.

We want to thank everyone of you who has given to the COVID-19 Relief Fund. Your support is being used to deliver food and hope to many people around the world, but for many the crisis of hunger continues.
