Time to Step It Up: Now through July 5th
The edHEALTH Walking Challenge is in full gear.
With just a couple of weeks left, there is still plenty of time for participating member-owners and our schools' advisors to accrue more steps for their respective teams.
Which team will win this year? Only time will tell!

Important Dates Regarding 2026 Renewals
During the past few months, as reported in our May newsletter, we had numerous one-on-one meetings with our member-owners about their schools' plan design strategies for next year. Because of these discussions, we adjusted the due dates for all member-owners to the following:
June 30: Schools provide plan design menu change requests. This should include all requests to change current plans (e.g., copays, visit limits, etc.). Schools to request differentials/decrements for plan change options mentioned above.
July 15: edHEALTH distributes the final plan menu.
August 8 or August 29: Renewal pricing delivered to schools.
August 22 or September 12: Alternate plan design rates delivered.
September 30: All rate sheets and program election forms are due.
You'll find the complete updated renewal timeline in the edHEALTH Portal.

Member-Owners: No July Plan Design Committee Meeting
We won't be hosting a July virtual meeting. Instead, look for an invitation to arrive next month for our August 13th meeting. We will use part of it to delve further into strategic planning and break into our respective DISCOVERY Teams.

Summer Break: For This Newsletter, at Least
While edHEALTH will work with our member-owners and their advisors all summer long, we want to recognize the July 4 holiday and respect so many of your well-earned vacations. This newsletter will pause publication in July and August. We'll return with some exciting news in September, too.
Here's hoping you can find time to soak up some Vitamin D and stay hydrated enjoying fresh melons during the summer months. Please have some fun, but safety first!

| Engagement, Learning, and Strategic Planning: That and Much More at Our 2025 Annual Member-Owner Meeting | |
On June 12, edHEALTH hosted our annual member-owner meeting at The Connors Center in Dover, MA. This year, we had a full day of learning and planning for our educational institutions.
In the morning, for our schools, we hosted six industry experts in pharmacy, primary care, high-cost, high-risk strategies, and fiduciary responsibility to offer their insights on these critical and timely topics. edHEALTH also hosted a session on faculty and staff communications and engagement. We later kicked off edHEALTH's three-year strategic plan with our educational institutions and their individual advisors. Later in the afternoon, our valued business partners joined the meeting to highlight what's new for edHEALTH at their organizations. We appreciate everyone taking time out of their busy schedules to make our annual meeting informative, productive, and fun!
The edHEALTH team is also excited that our member-owners' energy and commitment will help us to continue to control healthcare costs and uncover new ways for better healthcare experiences. Thank you to all who attended and participated in our Path 2 DISCOVERY strategic framework. There is so much more to come!

Honoring Claire O'Sullivan Who Retired (Again)
If you've ever met with anyone from edHEALTH, then you've likely connected with Claire. She served as President and CEO Tracy Hassett's Executive Assistant and accommodated thousands of schedules from institutions nationwide during the past nine years. She also put her prior event planning management skills from Harvard Business School to good use at edHEALTH, organizing every annual meeting and board meetings. She also did so much for the entire team on a daily basis.
Claire's history with edHEALTH goes back even further. She supported our Chair of the Boards and one of edHEALTH's cofounders, Steve Hannabury, when they both worked at member-owner school Olin College of Engineering. Steve, for the second time, offered retirement remarks about Claire at our annual meeting. Last time, her retirement was quite short-lived as Tracy offered her a position at edHEALTH on her last ride home from Olin. This time, both Steve and Tracy shared highlights about why they value having Claire on the team so very much. While thrilled for Claire's newfound freedom from work, we miss her already!

edHEALTH Board Chair Transition
At the annual meeting, Chair of the Boards Steve Hannabury highlighted a new position, Chair-Elect, created last year to ensure continued governance and proper succession planning. Steve then shared that he plans to step down from the edHEALTH Board of Managers and edHEALTH Cell Subscribers Advisory Committee in November. He will stay on as edRISK's Chair of the Board, so Steve will remain connected to edHEALTH. Longtime edHEALTH Board Member John Burke, Financial Vice President & Treasurer of Boston College, is our Chair-Elect.
While celebrating Claire at the end of our June 12 meeting, we also thanked Steve for his significant role in creating edHEALTH and being an integral part of its 12 years of success.
You'll learn more about Steve and John in our fall newsletters.
