Celebrating a Great CO Gives Day!

A heartfelt thank you to YOU - our generous donors - for helping us raise an incredible $47,191 on Colorado Gives Day!

The value of these gifts will be increased by the Colorado Gives Day $1 Million+ Incentive Fund and will be put to work immediately to help thousands of deserving students in our community feel comfortable, confident and prepared to thrive.

Your contributions allow Clothes To Kids to provide a wide selection of clothing and shoes, as well as a fun shopping experience for the students we serve. Your belief in our mission is what makes our work possible.

Holiday Hours

Clothes To Kids will be closed from

December 22, 2024 through January 6, 2025

for a holiday break and our annual inventory count.

While we are closed, we will be unable to accept your clothing donations.

This is the only time of year that we stop accepting donations, so we hope that you will save them for us until we reopen in January!

We will return to normal operating hours on January 7:

Tuesday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday & Monday: Closed

Although we can't accept any clothing donations until January 7, your financial support will help us serve students in need throughout the year ahead.

Sharing the Love

This generous young donor told us that he brought in some of his cars and books because he wanted to help kids who might not have any. He was even able to put them in the store all by himself. And these fun extras were definitely a hit!

We were so happy when Jennifer Waines from Dress for Success Denver came by to drop off some fun new hair accessories. Luckily we had some extra special volunteers (a staff member’s granddaughter and an another staff member’s daughter) there to help her sort and display everything. These extras were such a nice treat for our shoppers!

When we needed extra help picking up a big coat donation from the Dependable Cleaners Coats for Colorado drive, our awesome volunteer Paige Hogoboom (in the pink jacket) rounded up some friends and picked up 3 carloads. We are extremely low on our coat inventory right now and this made a big difference.

Our volunteer super-shopper Kathy Hoskins (right in photo) was invited to Walmart Supercenter #2892 in Parker to receive a $2,500 grant from their facility. Their team has always been so good to us and we are thrilled for the opportunity to celebrate our partnership!

During his visit with us, this super helpful student shopper noticed a big donation arrive and jumped right in to help unload! So many of the families who shop with us return to donate and volunteer their time. We appreciate this thoughtful support!

The Cherry Hills III Neighborhood just wrapped up another wonderful clothing drive benefiting our shoppers. Their community donated hundreds of pieces of brand new clothing, plus an impressive $3,795 in donations. Wow!

We’ve got a fabulous front window for winter, courtesy of our super-creative volunteer designer, Jamie Wasinger. Thank you for making our shop so welcoming in every season!

Earlier this month, we were the fortunate beneficiary of Kristana Kane’s Jingle Bell Brunch. It was such a fun event, plus Kristana’s guests brought hundreds of clothing items and donated $1,475! Special thanks to long-time Clothes To Kids of Denver supporter Peter Harnisch for his special donation and to Blackbird Denver for stepping up to host the gathering on short notice.

Our sweet friend Betsy Abrams (center with our development director Val Lunka, right, and founder Joyce Meyers, left) recently held her annual benefit brunch and ornament exchange supporting Clothes To Kids of Denver and Kenya's Kidz. Betsy's guests donated $2,500 in gift cards and checks to CTKD! Such a fun way to celebrate the holiday season. We love you, Betsy!
