Hold a "Kicks For Kids" Shoe Drive!
We need shoes!

Here at Clothes To Kids of Denver, shoes that are in good condition and suitable for school are always our greatest need. CTKD provides a pair of new or gently used shoes to every student who visits our boutique. We currently serve more than 10,000 students annually and need your help to make sure we can meet the growing demand!
That's why we've created Kicks For Kids!

Kicks For Kids is a new way for workplaces, service organizations, Scout troops, schools, sports teams, businesses and religious communities to support our mission. The timing for Kicks For Kids drives is very flexible so that you can pick a time of year that is right for your group. All the information you need to get started is on the Drives and Special Collections page of our website.
No time to hold a drive, but still want to help?

Spring is the perfect time to take a look through your closets for shoes and boots that can help our students put their best foot forward. Popular styles include athletic shoes (tennis, basketball, running, skate, etc.), slip-ons (e.g., Vans), canvas (e.g., Converse or Toms), flats, boots (all types) and black school uniform shoes.
We accept size 8T - adult (even the really big ones!). If you are purchasing new, our most needed sizes are for elementary school age children (kid size 10 - youth size 5).
Don't forget! We are open for clothing and shoe donations on Fridays and Saturdays. Please take a look at our Clothing & Shoe Donations page for a full description of what we take and our greatest needs. Thank you!
Our Young Professionals Are Back!

Our Clothes To Kids of Denver Young Professionals are back in action! The group recently met on a Sunday morning to pack 27 wardrobes for Curbside pick-up. Special thanks to our event organizers Lerea Mares & Coco Wham and our sponsor Champagne Laurent-Perrier.

Sharing the Love

Kellen McCarvel and Megan Timlin from Joybees Footwear, dropped off an enormous donation of bright and colorful shoes for our shoppers. The shoes are beautiful and all brand new!

The tailoring department at Neiman Marcus used their expert sewing skills to create 150 gorgeous masks for our shoppers.

Meet Samantha! This senior from Rock Canyon High School has been volunteering with us for several years and will be completing 100 hours of service to receive a letter in volunteering. We really appreciate her and her amazing work!

Angel Johnson, owner of ICONI Leggings, stopped by to personally donate some brand new T-shirts. They were an immediate hit! In 2020, Angel was featured on Oprah's Favorite Things. We are so proud of all she has accomplished. Talk about ambition!

The incredible school community at DSST: Byers Middle & High School just donated multiple rolling bins of clothing and shoes. That's a lot!

Cheers to two of our favorite Nike employees, Lien Nguyen and Oscar Marquez! Lien is one of our long-time volunteers and helped Oscar bring in a big chunk of his shoe collection to donate, as well as a full bin of clothing. It was perfect timing to help fill the racks up.

Check out these beautiful and super warm coats collected by the Eddie Bauer store at Aspen Grove! They have collected 350 coats for us since November and will continue their collection into April.

We were very fortunate to receive nearly 1,200 of pairs of new underwear and new socks from the generous congregation of Augustana Lutheran Church in Denver. Thank you for the many ways you support CTKD and other nonprofits in the community!

Our new friends from Cookies for Caregivers Denver surprised us with two bags of fresh-baked cookies for our staff and volunteers! They were absolutely delicious, but the real treat was knowing that our work is appreciated by the community.
Support CTKD at Tax Time with ReFUND
If you get a state income tax refund in 2021, you will have a new opportunity to donate some or all of it to support our work in the community. The new ReFUND CO initiative puts you in charge of where your donation goes. It’s as simple as 1,2,3:

  1. Decide how much of your refund to donate.
  2. Enter Clothes To Kids of Denver and our registration number 20083003376 in the "Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund" line on your state income tax return or tax software – or just give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.
  3. Smile knowing you’ve helped a cause that matters to you!
With this new program, you can energize our important work for another year. Learn more at RefundWhatMatters.org.

As always, we’re grateful for your past support of our mission and hope you’ll consider donating again with ReFUND CO.
