Tolbert & Tolbert Attorneys Make Indiana's Super Lawyers 2021 List

Congratulations to our firm partners Shelice R. Tolbert and Michael E. Tolbert on being included on Indiana’s Super Lawyers list for 2021. Attorneys are selected for this coveted designation through an evaluation process that includes professional achievement and peer recognition. This list represents the top 5% of lawyers in the state. Atty. Michael E. Tolbert earns Karate Black Belt

Recently, Atty. Michael E. Tolbert earned a black belt from the Dunlap School of Karate in Gary, IN. Master Alex Dunlap stopped by the firm to make the official presentation.

"I am truly proud of Michael's accomplishment," said wife and partner Atty. Shelice Tolbert. "Now he can officially kick butt in and out of the courtroom!"

Meet Tolbert & Tolbert team member Atty. Candace Williams

Atty. Candace Williams joined Tolbert & Tolbert in December 2016. A graduate of Valparaiso Law School, she practices in the area of insurance defense with a focus on commercial litigation, civil rights litigation and regulatory issues that impact banking institutions.

"We are honored to have Candace as a part of our legal team," said Atty. Michael E. Tolbert. "She has earned endless accolades in the industry while maintaining an active presence in the law community through volunteerism and memberships in professional organizations."

Tolbert & Tolbert LLC is looking to hire a Litigation Paralegal
Tolbert & Tolbert law firm is looking for a high-energy litigation paralegal in our Civil Litigation and Mediation practice. Candidates will assist the attorneys with the coordination of details before, during and after the trial, draft pleadings, motions, appellate documents and file them with the court. Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience with Indiana Civil Litigation and should also be able to summarize medical records, calendar hearings, monitor deadlines and perform other necessary paralegal tasks.

Excellent communication skills, writing, grammar and spelling skills are a plus. We are looking for someone who possesses an ability to work individually and as a team member. Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.) is our choice software program along with Practice Management software.
