Here at Ditesco, we owe a large part of our success to our commitment to our core values; being collaborative, trusted, dedicated, and honest. By emphasizing client relationships and exemplifying these values, we enhance their experience and the infrastructure that serves the community around us! It all starts by hiring the right people and mentoring our engineers, construction managers, and administrative staff by teaching them about servant leadership.
We have been fortunate to work on some impactful projects in our Northern Colorado community, including some recent award-winning ones:
-
Soldier Canyon Filter Plant 15 MGD Expansion for the Soldier Canyon Water Treatment Authority
-
Safe Water Action Program (SWAP) for the City of Fort Collins
-
Tenney Court North and West Oak Street Alley Renovations for the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority
It's no mistake that these projects were recognized by national and local accredited agencies for their achievements. It's a direct result of providing honest, dedicated service and working collaboratively with local municipalities and our industry partners to deliver trusted results that will serve our family and friends.
As summer construction ends and we transition into winter, it's a great reminder to pause and appreciate what our team has accomplished. Our communities are growing, our commitments are growing, and so are we. We're always looking for new opportunities to help our clients achieve their goals. Whether it's phasing a project to improve scheduling, implementing a custom communications plan, or working alongside contractors to provide the best solutions to complex challenges in the field – our team is driving our success and the success of our clients.
So, thank you for all that you do. People build a business – that has never been more true – than at Ditesco.

City of Greeley Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation Facility (WTRF) Nitrification Project Phase II
|
|
The City of Greeley's Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation Facility improvements are nearly 60% complete. Ditesco has provided project and construction management and resident engineering services throughout construction.
Major structural concrete will be complete by the end of October, and all process piping ties connecting the new basins to the existing plant infrastructure have been completed and tested. Crews are actively working on modifications to the RAS pump station, including three new pumps, pipe improvements, handrails and grating across the site, and a new aeration system in Aeration Basin 1.
The startup of the new system is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. Once complete, crews will begin upgrading the existing aeration basins.

City of Fort Collins Linden Street Renovations
|
|
Linden Street in Fort Collins is officially open to the public, and the renewal is transformational. Precast pavers replaced the curb and gutter to convert the space into a pedestrian plaza that features Tivoli lighting with programmable LED ring lights. Rounding out the area are kinetic turbine art structures positioned at the Old Firehouse Alley intersection. Cheers to the project team on this revitalization project!

We know it's fall when we're attending career fairs back-to-back. We had a blast mentoring students for the Colorado School of Mines Fall Career Day at the WIRED! Prep with Reps workshop – and seeing them navigate career day with ease! And Colorado State University's Construction Management and Engineering career fairs were the perfect opportunities for our team to share how students can build their careers with Ditesco.

2022 Rocky Mountain Water Conference
|
|
Our team took the plunge and attended the Rocky Mountain Water Conference in Keystone, CO! Senior Project Manager Jill Burrell and Construction Managers Justin Schaller and Matt Jardine spent their time soaking up presentations and learning about new tech like Sigelock's tamper-proof Spartan Fire Hydrant. The hydrant features a sleek new look to improve public safety, water security, and cost efficiency. Our team enjoyed the mountains and good food with our clients from Greeley and Loveland in their free time.
