Tooele Happenings

On May 14, we hosted our Community Breakfast Fundraiser. Our theme this year is It Takes All of Us: Community Powered Safety, and our community showed up in a major way. If you weren’t able to make this year’s Breakfast, we wanted to include you in the fun by sharing this year's impact video.

The event raised nearly $70,000. It was a morning filled with hope and community — and the work continues. If you’d like to help us keep showing up for survivors, there’s still time to support. 

Community in action

Our Pathways Sanctuary would like to thank all our community members who have donated recently. The Tooele High School Latinos in Action and Tooele Education Foundation, who provided funds to help purchase some of the donations for their hygiene donation drive for our residents.

Barbara Yaney and Wendy Olson donated beautiful quilts, and the Grantsville HS FCCLA club dropped off donations of clothing and other hygiene items.

This past April, the Grace Upon Grace project put together an incredible FREE event for the community, offering gently used items to families at no cost besides a suggested entrance ticket of new art/craft supplies (examples include: crayons, colored pencils, coloring books, stickers, pencils, notepads, sketch pads, craft packs) for Pathways Sanctuary and after the event they donated some of the extra items to us as well.

It takes community support like this to support survivors in every way we do. We are so grateful for everyone's hard work!

Three years with SVS!

Pathways Sanctuary recently marked three years since merging with SVS. Over that time, Pathways and SVS have worked together to strengthen services and expand our reach, ensuring survivors have consistent access to advocacy, shelter, and essential resources. In December of 2023, we opened our Pathways Advocacy Center, and in 2026, we started offering transitional housing for our shelter residents in need of extended housing support. 

Services available to survivors in Tooele, UT:



• A 24-hour crisis hotline, offering support to victims, their families, and the community.
• We provide emergency shelter for individuals and families escaping domestic or sexual violence. Our sanctuary is staffed around the clock by dedicated professionals and offers a comforting, home-like environment.
• We offer support groups, therapy sessions, family-style dinners, and activities to build connection and support healing.
• Case Managers are dedicated to assisting with safety planning, connecting clients to community resources, and offering ongoing support.
• Housing case management services are provided to support individuals in securing and maintaining safe, stable housing.
• Family Support Advocates offer children's programming that includes safety planning, individual advocacy, after-school club, summer programming, and parenting classes.
