A 'Law Enforcement Appreciation Celebration' will be held at 6:00 tonight at the First Baptist Church in Disputanta.

The Parks & Recreation Department will host 'Movie in the Park' at 8:30 tonight at Scott Park.  The feature film will be Zootopia.

A 'Steamed Shrimp Dinner' will be held from 5-7 tonight at the Bethlehem Congregational Church at 10501 Pole Run Road.

The Prince George Farmers' Market will be open from 8 a.m. - 12:00 noon Saturday, August 27 at Scott Park.

The Public School Division will host its 2016 Convocation from 8-11 a.m. on Monday, August 29 at Prince George High School.

A Commencement Ceremony for the 2016 Youth Workforce Academy will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, August 29 at Clements Junior High School. Details.
 
Prince George County Government Employees will participate in 'A Night at the Diamond' at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 31.

The Prince George Parks & Recreation Department will conclude its free Girl's Basketball Clinic from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 28 at the Central Wellness Center.

The Benjamin Harrison Bridge will continue to have lane closures this week. 

The Appomattox River Water Authority will have mediation discussions beginning at 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 2 at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Colonial Heights.


5th Annual 'Back to School Fair'
Distributes 1,055 Backpacks
The 5th Annual 'Back to School Fair' was held August 25 at Scott Park.  An estimated 1,200 people were in attendance and 1,055 backpacks were distributed to school-age children.
