Members of the Board of Supervisors will be in Richmond on August 19 participating in the Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) Summer Meetings.

The Prince George 2016 Basic Fire Academy Graduation will be held tonight at 7:00 at Prince George High School.

The Prince George Farmers Market will be open from 8 a.m. - 12:00 noon Saturday, August 13 at Scott Park.

A premiere of the movie 'Imperium' will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 17 at the Beacon Theater.

The Fort Lee Civilian-Military Council will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 18 at the Lee Club.  A signing of the Community Covenant will take place at 11:00 a.m.
 
The Appomattox River Water & South Central Wastewater authorities will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 18 at the offices at Lake Chesdin.

The Dinwiddie County Farm Bureau will hold its 18th Annual Appreciation Cookout at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 18 at the Blaha Farm.

The Prince George Parks & Recreation Department will continue its free Girls Basketball Clinic from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 14 at the Central Wellness Center.

Prince George County Government will host 'Bring Your Child to Work Day' Friday, August 19 during regular business hours.

Prince George County Citizens Academy in Full Swing
The Prince George County Citizens Academy completed its third month of classes on August 11.  The group heard from the County Attorney, Director of Social Services & the Real Estate Assessor.
