Advance Your Skills

ABB Advanced VFD is a 2-day, intensive class that provides a more in-depth look at architecture, options, and parameters. It includes more complex, hands-on sessions on control panels, macros, startup and control, programming, and troubleshooting.

Class Prerequisite: Students taking the Advanced class must have experience with VFD applications and maintenance. Although experience with ABB drives is ideal, experience with other drive brands is acceptable. For students who have little or no experience with applications and maintenance, the Cates ABB Basic VFD class satisfies this prerequisite. Class Syllabus

Learn From An Experienced Instructor

Dave McDonald is the instructor for the ABB Basic VFD and Advanced VFD classes. He has been engineering and servicing VFDs, as well as teaching classes, for over 30 years. Dave is a great instructor and his extensive knowledge makes him a valuable resource for our students during class.
