Catholic Schools Week - Jan 28 - Feb 2, 2024 Schedule

Sunday (January 28) - Catholic Schools Week Mass, 8:45am, St. Louis Church

  • Students will attend Mass with their class. Students should wear their school uniform and meet their teacher in McClunn Hall at 8:15am. (Students who attend this Mass with their class will receive a comfy clothes day on a future date.)
  • The PTO will be hosting a bake sale in the school cafeteria following all Sunday Masses.

Call for Bake Sale Bakers & Volunteers!

We are still in need of bakers and volunteers for this weekend's PTO Bake Sale. Specifically requested are eggs, cheese, donuts, cookies, cakes, muffins, breads, pies, and gluten free options.


We are also in need of volunteers to help set-up and run the sale. Please consider donating your time or talent this weekend. Sign up in Connect 1.

Monday (January 29) – “Saint Thomas Aquinas Day"

  • Crazy Socks Day - Students may wear crazy socks with their uniform.
  • Activities include Saints Alive!, Spelling Bee, and "Faith Friendly Feud"
  • There will be no MS Mass

Tuesday (January 30) – “St. John the Apostle Day”

  • Hawk Spirit Wear Day - Students may wear any Hawk spirit wear top (CYO sweatshirts or t-shirts, Hawks 5K t-shirts) or PE shirt/sweatshirt with their PE uniform sweatpants.
  • Activities include Faith Appreciation and the 5th Grade Wax Museum. Parents may attend the Wax Museum from 1:00-1:30pm in McClunn Hall and the cafeteria.

Wednesday (January 31) – “St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Day”

  • Sports Jersey Day - Students may wear a favorite sports jersey OVER their regular Mass uniform. Note: Middle School boys may wear the polo shirt instead of the shirt and tie under the jersey.
  • All School Mass
  • Student will receive ice cream during lunch
  • Activities include Community Service Day and "Juggler for Jesus" cultural arts assembly

Catholic Schools Week Service Project

This year, our CSW Community Service Project is to help United Community jumpstart their Back-to-School program to give children in our local community the tools they need for a successful school year.


Please consider donating school supplies for this service project. At this time, specific needs include composition books, heavy duty plastic folders, and spiral notebooks. Students will participate in assembling the items into backpacks during Catholic Schools Week. Sign up in Connect 1.


Please send your donations in NO LATER THAN Monday, January 29.

Thursday (February 1) – "Blessed Mother Mary Day"

  • Spirit Day - Students may wear their grade colored shirt with their PE uniform sweatpants:
  • Preschool - Yellow
  • Kindergarten - Green
  • 1st Grade - Royal Blue
  • 2nd Grade - White
  • 3rd Grade - Purple
  • 4th Grade - Orange
  • 5th Grade - Navy Blue
  • 6th Grade - Pink
  • 7th Grade - Red
  • 8th Grade - Black
  • Activities include a school-wide Divine Mercy Chaplet and Spirit Day (student relay races, singing and dancing)

Friday (February 2) – "St. Joseph Day" 

  • Pajama Day - Students may wear flannel or fleece pajama bottoms or sweatpants and a sweatshirt top (NO nightgowns, "onesies", leggings, yoga pants, jeans with rips or tears, and clothing with inappropriate language or words.).
  • Activities include Teacher Swap, Teachers vs. 8th Grade Minute-to-Win-It games, and the Student Council Contest
