Monday, January 28th 
Student Appreciation Day!
The PTA will be bringing Pretzels in for the students and sponsoring two productions by the Walnut Street Theater!!  Students are permitted to dress down, but are reminded to pack a brown bag lunch for that day due to the theater productions.
Tuesday, January 29th
Middle School Retreat 
9:00 AM until 2 PM

The students in grades 6-8 will travel to the St. John Neumann Shrine in Philadelphia to reflect on this great saint who is the father of Catholic education in America.

Students in the other grade levels will read, explore and reflect on the lives of St. John Neumann and St. Elizabeth Seton in school, and their contributions to Catholic schools. 
 
Students in grades 6-8 are asked to return their permission forms by January 22nd, and they will also be asked to pack their own lunch for the trip to Philadelphia.
Wednesday, January 30th
Day of Service
12:30-2 PM

PreK-2: Students in these grade levels will conduct their annual "baby shower" to support mothers and their children in Good Counsel Homes. More details on this to follow!

3-5: Students on these grade levels will be doing various service activities on behalf of Veterans and our Senior friends at the St. Peter Senior Ministry Center next door.

6-8: Students on these grade levels will be making bagged lunches for the poor at the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden. 

Volunteer's Tea

As this day will be our "Day of Service" we would like to offer a special thank you to our volunteers by inviting them to our school for our annual Volunteer's Tea. We will be reaching out to all school volunteers for more information on this. In the meantime, Volunteers may RSVP for this event by clicking here!
Thursday, January 31st
Day of Prayer and Family Night
All Day

All classes will compose specific class prayers with intentions to be read throughout the day over the loudspeaker. Grade 8 will go through a dynamic retreat coordinated by parishioners Paul and Chery Foti, which centers on the work of the Comboni missionaries in Africa, as well as the specific challenges facing African countries and other third world nations. Additionally, students in grades 3-7 will meet for their monthly rosary in the church, while grade 4-1 will pray the rosary with the seniors.

Family Night

1) Multi-cultural food fest in the Art Room!
2) Open house and tours for existing school families and prospective school families
3) Book exchange- be sure to bring a book to trade up!
4) STEM Club demonstration/activity with Mr. Holliday in the music room!
5) Robotics Club displays and demos in the Library with Mr. Roxberry!
6) Also, come check out the various artwork on display by our students during the course of the year!!!

Friday, February 1st
Teacher Appreciation Day!

PTA will sponsor breakfast for our teachers, while parent volunteers and 8th graders oversee activities for them in their classrooms! Additionally, we will have our 10 AM school Mass. Dismissal is at 11:30 on this day, and all are encouraged to have lunch at Amy's Diner to support our PTA Sponsored "Dine and Donate" event!
