Summer has officially come and gone, but that doesn't mean the fun and fellowship needs to slow down! As San Francisco gears up for more of its famous "Indian Summer," our young adult leaders are eager to provide you with several opportunities to strengthen friendships and your faith this month.
Saturday, October 6: Catholic Underground Bay Area! This is a fantastic opportunity to seek solace in an hour of eucharistic adoration followed by some spirit-lifting music presented by an up-and-coming Catholic artist. This event is FREE (donations graciously accepted) and is worth the effort to head over to the East Bay. You don't want to miss it!
Friday, October 12: Gubbio Project Breakfast for the Homeless. Click on the link for more information. Please email Christina at firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the volunteer list. Details as to what foodstuffs to bring will be arranged a few days before the breakfast.
Tuesday, October 16: The Archdiocese of San Francisco, in an effort to reach out to us young adults and assist us in forming our voting conscience, will be hosting TWO Theology on Tap discussions--first on the 16th, the second on the 30th. These discussions are meant to help us prepare our hearts and minds as we head to the polls to vote in November. Click on the link below for details.
SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, October 28th after the 5:15 Mass. YAG will be hosting a fabulously fun bonfire and picnic at Ocean Beach! Pizza and fixings for s'mores will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring a beverage and/or snack to share, and their guitar for some campfire songs. Stay tuned for more details.
As always, we are eager to hear your feedback on how we can serve you better! Feel free to pass along any comments to email@example.com
Have a blessed week!
Peace from your Young Adult Leadership Team,
Christina Sullivan, Courtney O'Hagan, Paul Boyer and Greg Sirotek
