The Home Depot Foundation's Veteran Housing Grants Program awards funding to nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico for the new construction or rehabilitation of permanent supportive housing for veterans. Grants are available for the physical construction or repair of housing for veterans. The grant amount must comprise less than 50% of the total development cost of the project. Rural areas will be considered; however, high priority will be given to large metropolitan areas that have a dense veteran population. Requests are reviewed three times per year. The Bob Woodruff Foundation Grants Program funds programmatic efforts serving the military and veteran community in the United States. The focus is on programs that improve overall health and well-being of service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers.

Funding is provided to programs that:

  • improve social determinants of health,
  • decrease barriers to accessing physical and mental healthcare,
  • increase accessibility to programming that fosters a healthy lifestyle, and
  • enhance opportunities for veterans to thrive after service.

Funded organizations and programs must provide direct services to the military/veteran population and be administered through a nonprofit organization.

The Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program strengthens local partnerships to prevent and reduce youth substance use. Administered by the Office of National Drug Control Policy and the CDC, the program funds community coalitions that unite schools, nonprofits, local governments, and other stakeholders to address substance use risk factors and promote healthy youth development. Grants support evidence-based prevention strategies, coalition coordination, and initiatives that build lasting community resilience.

The Easton Foundations aim to grow archery participation across the United States by supporting programs and facilities that serve archers from their first experience through elite levels. The Foundation offers three types of grants:

  1. Big Impact Grants: For transformative projects that significantly expand access to archery.
  2. Equipment Grants: Up to $500 to help start or grow archery programs by providing essential gear.
  3. Operational Grants: To support day-to-day program costs such as staffing, maintenance, and outreach. Eligible applicants include schools, clubs, parks and recreation departments, and other nonprofit organizations committed to archery education and participation.

The Foundation prioritizes programs that demonstrate sustainability, community engagement, and alignment with Easton’s mission to promote lifelong involvement in archery. Visit the Easton Foundations website for complete grant details.
