On showing up

7 storytellers from the Upper Valley wrestled with the theme of “showing up” at AVA Gallery’s latest edition of the Mudroom, where speakers must tell a true and autobiographical story live, not read. Stories were told by Julia Neily, Annabelle Cone, Lars Hasselblad Torres, Don Kollisch, Marv Klassen-Landis, and Judith Hertog. 3/12/26 produced by Jordyn Fitch for JAM.

Battle of the bands

Band and choral students from Grantham, Plainfield, Lebanon Middle, Lebanon High, and Hartford High School took March by a storm! Ordinary Jews. Talking.

Hosted by Liora Alschuler, Ordinary Jews. Talking. features conversations on being Jewish in the world today.

S3 Episode 3: Liora chats with Sarah Villanueva, a Jew, doula, congregational leader, and human with a passionate and compassionate heart. In graduate school she took a course on World Religions which the professor introduced by saying that the best case scenario would be that you want to convert every time you learn about a new one.

JAM relies on diverse funding sources to sustain our nonprofit community media services promoting civic engagement and transparency in local government. We wish to thank the Comcast and VTel cable subscribers, voters in our service area towns, the State of Vermont, individual donors, local business sponsors, and public and private foundations who make JAM's work possible.
