At John Carroll Catholic High School, we educate young men and women in a welcoming Catholic environment that promotes academic excellence, nurtures holistic integrity, and inspires Christ-like servant leadership.

RENEWAL AT JCCHS

Honoring Contributions to JCCHS: On Friday, October 16, prior to the JCCHS football game against Madison Academy, John Carroll took a moment to recognize and celebrate the dedication and generosity of many individuals who have united to support the school's mission: nurturing the hearts, minds, bodies, and souls of students.

VENDORS

Warner Athletics: Mr. Taylor Miller and his team, who installed our Olympic-level track, new field turf, and state-of-the-art LED lights.

Shelby General Contractors: Project Manager Mr. Alex Pankey, who oversaw the complete renovation of our field house and the construction of our new Sports Performance Center.

Davis Architects: Mr. Andrew Taylor, the designer behind the field house renovation and the Sports Performance Center — both built with excellence and a focus on safety.

SCHOOL LEADERSHIP

Mr. Ronald Steele: Our Principal and John Carroll Class of 2004, whose dedication to the holistic development of individuals greatly supports the entire JCCHS community as we guide the young people entrusted to us.

Father Jon Chalmers: Our former President, whose vision and relentless efforts helped establish the Excellence in Athletics Foundation.

Mrs. Margaret DuBose: Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Birmingham, whose leadership and commitment to Catholic education have been a tremendous blessing for John Carroll.

MAJOR BENEFACTORS AND MEMBERS OF THE EXCELLENCE IN ATHLETICS FOUNDATION

Mr. Richard Cashio '75

Mr. Gary Cooney '69

Mr. David Shelby '68

Mrs. Jean Sullivan

His Excellency, Bishop Steven J. Raica: The Bishop of Birmingham, whose unwavering support for Catholic education throughout our diocese has empowered John Carroll to dream boldly. His pastoral care for our students and encouragement of this renewal effort, along with his vision of schools that nurture the whole person, have been invaluable to our entire community.

To date, the Excellence in Athletics Foundation has successfully raised over 15 million dollars to foster the holistic development of our students — Heart, Body, Mind, and Soul. This generosity has enabled us to acquire a turf playing surface, a new track, field lights, a renovated field house, a new Sports Performance Center, and the only high school football field in the country adorned with the Heisman logo.
