| | Attendance 'Need to Know' | |
Absence, for any reason, removes the student from the primary learning environment and thus has a negative effect on student achievement. Therefore, students are expected to be in school and on time when school is in session, that is, when there are classes, tests, and examinations or school sponsored activities/programs/retreats/field trips.
Check out all the details of the attendance policies at JCCHS by visiting pages 17-20 of the Student Handbook (this includes late arrivals, early dismissals, excused and unexcused absences, etc.). Check it out to be 'in the know'!
