Baby, it's cold outside...
And, maybe Inside, too!

It's January and perhaps you still haven't gotten 'round to that much needed heating unit service or repair.

Shiver no more!

BUT...When you do finally call for help on your business or home heating, be sure to turn first to one of our local heating and air conditioning service companies. Remember, keeping it local is what Cave Creek is all about.

This season, Rural Metro Fire - Town of Carefree/Cave Creek for collected approximately 1000 toys and almost $8,000 in the boot for the Foothills Food Bank. Toys were shared with both food bank locations, their partners and Hope Kids, Children's Hospital and the San Carlos Apache reservation. They collected outside of Cave Creek's Walmart for four weekends. Clients and seniors could shop for their families in the Santa's Workshops they created. Fantastic!!!

Rural Metro Fire - Town of Carefree/Cave Creek want to thank all who donated. AND-To Rural Metro Fire - Town of Carefree/Cave Creek, THANK YOU for all you do to bring more smiles to Christmas!

*Grand Opening*
Town of Cave Creek
Fire Department

On January 3rd from 7:30am – 11:00am the public is welcome to join the Town of Cave Creek, in conjunction with Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical, as we celebrate the launch of the new Town of Cave Creek Fire Department. At 8:00am the first call from dispatch will officially welcome these resources to the community.
As most in the region know, there were two back-to-back major wildland fire events in May of 2020. Following these events, neighboring jurisdictions encouraged the Town of Cave Creek to increase fire protection and services within Town limits.

At a Regular Council Meeting on August 16th, 2021, the Town of Cave Creek Council Members voted in favor of obtaining the property located at 37042 N. Cave Creek Road to be used as the Town’s fire station. This was part of a collective effort to work with the community in securing an all-hazard emergency service, in pursuit of joining the Regional Automatic Aid System.

Graduation for 11 new Daisy Mountain firefighters to help staff this facility took place on Friday, November 9th. On December 6th the Town entered into a long-term agreement with Daisy Mountain District to provide these emergency services for the future.

The Town of Cave Creek and Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Department are proud to announce the grand opening of Cave Creek Station #1 / Daisy Mountain Fire Station #147 to take place on January 3rd, 2022. The public is welcome to attend from 7:30am – 11:00am to join in the celebration of this momentous occasion for Cave Creek.

Residents can visit Town Hall or the website for a letter for your insurance providers regarding these changes. For more information see News and Announcements on the Town’s website: www.CaveCreekAZ.gov.

Town Manager's Corner
Greetings & Happy New Year Cave Creek Merchants,

This is the time of year when we give a summary report of the year in review. The Town has accomplished a lot — all while navigating through the second year of a pandemic. This is just a summary of some of the many highlights, challenges, changes, and strong improvements which have been made in 2021.

The Town’s Mission, Vision and Values statement are our guiding principles. They set the direction for the town and how we conduct business. Our mission is to support the community by effectively managing public services and fostering our unique Southwestern ways of life. With this in mind, we proudly look back on how we accomplished our mission through our many successful collaborations among Cave Creek Town employees, our Town elected officials, other government agencies, and our residential and business community in 2021.

We wish you a prosperous and happy year ahead.

Cave Creek Town Manager
The Marshal's Corner
Greetings From the Marshal,

Happy New Year! I want to take this opportunity to welcome our new Cave Creek Fire Fighters who now occupy the fire house on Cave Creek Road (Cave Creek Station ONE). Rural Metro performed well for many, many years. I want to personally thank them for protecting Cave Creek as long as they had. The men and women who work for Rural Metro are an amazing group of fire fighters. I wish each and every one of them a happy and a safe new year.

As Cave Creek moves forward with our fire fighting medical team…friends, I am EXCITED. I have been the Cave Creek Marshal and Emergency Manager for almost twenty years and I assure you, Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical is the very best! Chief Tobin, who leads Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical, is one of the top chiefs in the valley. Chief Jim Ford, who the Town of Cave Creek hired to be our own Fire Guru, is also top in his field. The commitment to public safety, as proven by your current council and Town Manager, is phenomenal. I can not explain to all of you how much safer and better protected our community is now that we have Daisy Mountain and Chief Ford on our team.

As we move into the new year, I ask that you all reflect on what your health and safety means to you and your family. I am saddened to say that recent events affecting our law enforcement community have shaken our area. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has lost three deputies since October; one was beaten to death, one was struck and killed while directing traffic and Captain Shawn Braaten passed away due to complications from COVID. A City of Phoenix Police Officer, Tyler Moldovan, was ambushed and shot eight times not too far from Cave Creek. Please keep these officers and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Please remember that we need to remain diligent and honor the sacrifices of these officers and their families.

Stay safe and Happy New Year!
 Marshal Stein
