Safety Update
|
The District is committed to providing a safe supportive learning and working environment for our students and staff. We have safety plans in place to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from a crisis and these plans are practiced on a regular basis with students and staff. The plans have been designed with the expertise of staff members, national/state protocols, parents, and community safety experts. You can help us by:
- Keeping your emergency contact information updated at all times.
- Tell your child to inform an adult if anyone talks about hurting others, themselves or obtaining any type of weapon even if they think the person is joking.
- Know that the District practices immediate response actions; these drills help us be prepared for actions that would be taken in a crisis situation. If you believe participation in a drill could be detrimental for your child or you would like more information about a drill, please notify a building administrator.
