Continue to fill out short staffing forms when:
PPE is not provided to you, and call the NJ Dept. of Health: (800) 792-9770,
Your unit is short staffed and you cannot provide adequate care for your patients,
Equipment is broken or inadequate to provide proper patient care,
The employer has failed to provide supplies, such as (tubing/vent supplies/wound care ointment, dressing/adult diapers) or any items necessary to care for the residents during your shift.
