AT THE MARCH 21st MEMBERSHIP MEETING, JNESO WAS NOTIFIED THAT SOME MEMBERS MAY NOT BE GETTING AVAILABLE TIME PER THE CONTRACT.

YOUR CONTRACT STATES:
ARTICLE 19 - SCHEDULING & AVAILABLE TIME
(Pages 24-25 of your Union Contract)
A. Schedules cover a unit or a department

Schedules cover a two (2) week time period and are posted at least two (2) weeks prior to the start date of the schedule. Any time which is uncovered after fixed days for committed hours of full-time and part-time employees are accounted for becomes Available Time. All Available time is posted at the same time as the (2) two-week schedule. Employees may sign up for any open time they are willing to work above their committed hours. Any and all signups will be done via the available time sign-up slips, management will provide a timestamp to establish the time of sign-up. The employer has the right to assign work first to qualified employees who have signed up will receive regular straight time pay in the following order:

1. Full-time up to 40 hours per week
2. Part-time up to 40 hours per week
3. Per Diem up to 40 hours per week of available time with any conflicts being resolved by seniority within the employment status.
