As we navigate through this third wave of the COVID (Omicron Variant) you may see areas in the workplace where your employer is stepping down from a “high alert” patient care need. However, they must still maintain a healthy and safe work environment for all patients and staff.
ARTICLE 16 - HEALTH & SAFETY
(Pages 21-22 of your Union Contract)
A. The Center will take steps it determines to be reasonable to provide a reasonably safe environment for all Employees in accordance with the state and federal laws/guidelines. Employees are responsible for reporting unsafe situations.

B. Bargaining unit Employees may be invited to attend and/or to participate in Safety Committee meetings.

C. Infectious Disease will be handled in accordance with applicable CDC/OSHA guidelines.
