The U9/U11 Competitive Training camp at Cedar Springs in Burlington proved again to be a huge success with many of our Futures and Champions Team players signing up for the 8 week option and spent the whole summer training hard on the courts, improving fast with all the hours on court and time spent doing fitness drills. The camp also let the players engage in a variety of other activities such as swimming, football, basketball and a daily lunch hour that allowed the hard working players to let off some steam and create those important friendships.
Walker Lamarche [seen here with Oscar Zhang] was the Head Coach of the U9/U11 Competitive Training, and had help from 5 assistant coaches Maja Jovic, former ACE player and NCAA player Kadija Dumas DeSilva, Inna Balandina, ACE alumni Eric Cherniy and Oubeida  Ikharbine.
Head Coach U12/U14 Competitive Training Brandon Alguire: Our Summer camp was a huge success once again. Players received a variety of training: group practice, semi-private practice, hitting sessions with our college player Nathan Wong, match play, physical development, and swimming. Much of the content throughout the camp was on footwork in specific situations and decision making in order to make smart choices of where to hit the ball and how to recover to the proper court positioning. The players improved tremendously in these areas because they were hard working and dedicated to improving themselves all summer. Thank you to all the families who continued to show their commitment to tennis, to ACE, and to their child’s athletic & personal development.
