As this year comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who makes our mission possible. To our volunteers, donors, partner families, community partners, and supporters—you are the heart of Habitat, and we are deeply thankful for the hope and generosity you bring to our work year-round.

This season reminds us of the importance of home: a place of safety, comfort, and belonging. Because of your support in 2025, five more families in Linn and Benton counties are building those very foundations; a chance to celebrate the holidays in a space of their own, surrounded by warmth and possibility.

From all of us at Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity, we wish you a joyful, peaceful, and blessed holiday season. May your days be filled with connection, kindness, and community.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are energized and hopeful. Together, we will continue the vital work of building safe, decent, and affordable homes; strengthening families, neighborhoods, and our shared future.

Happy Holidays, and thank you for being part of our Habitat family. 💚🏡

Support the Mission

As we come to the end of the year, many of us are feeling the impact of rising costs; from groceries to gas to housing. For families already working hard to make ends meet, the dream of a safe and affordable home can feel further out of reach than ever.

This year, we’ve been honored to partner with Omar, a devoted father who came to Cedar Rapids from Rwanda seeking safety, opportunity, and a better life for his young son.

Your generosity makes journeys like Omar’s possible.

As you consider your year-end giving, we invite you to stand with families like Omar’s to keep homeownership opportunities available.

Together, we can build homes.

Together, we can build hope.

Gazette Gives Back

Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity needs your support!

This annual program allows both subscribers and non-subscribers to vote for their favorite local nonprofits to receive free advertising space through The Gazette in the coming year.

The more votes we receive, the greater our advertising reach will be in 2026—helping us share our mission, recruit volunteers, and build even more homes and hope across our community.

Thank you for standing with Habitat and helping us build homes, community, and hope right here in Linn & Benton counties!
