ReStore’s Upcycle Challenge is a great chance for you to flex your creative muscles, show off your DIY skills, and take part in ReStore’s green mission.

Elliot got started with Habitat at age 13, assisting his brother's Eagle Scout project to plant trees for a number of Habitat homes.

As an adult, Elliot has volunteered teaching financial education classes for Habitat homeowners as well as serving on our Board of Directors.

"Habitat to me is my favorite organization. It’s a hand up not a hand out. It brings the community together to provide support to those in need but it also inspires those to want to build a community together. I learned from a young age from my parents the importance of giving back to my community. Habitat not only helps those in need, but fosters a community of people that will in turn contribute positively to our community."
